Bottle of Immersion Oil & Lens Tissues
In polyethylene dropping bottle
Immersion oil is used when viewing specimens with the 100x immersion oil objective, as it's designed specifically for viewing with oil.
The immersion oil helps to preserve the resolution of the image when looking at it at 1000x because the oil boasts the same refractive index as glass.
A drop of immersion oil between the slide and condenser (for dark field applications), and between the slide and objective lens, provides a distortion-free path for light.
Safe for all lenses, this light-viscosity immersion oil will not dry out the slides or optics. The refractive index is 1.5150, the same as that of glass.
Coems with a book of Premiere optical lens paper size 4" x 6" (50 sheets)
